Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies, based in Casper, is pleased to announce that Powder River Energy Foundation will match up to $10,000 in donations to #HeartFull #TableFull, the food banks Valentine’s Day giving campaign.
“The Powder River Energy Foundation is proud to support the critically important work of our friends at the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies. Helping ensure those in need in our communities have enough to eat, remains one of our top priorities,” said Jeff Bumgarner, the Executive Director of the Powder River Energy Foundation.
“During these colder winter months, many families and seniors are faced with choosing between food and utilities. We’re grateful for Powder River Energy Foundation’s commitment to help us provide needed food to our community. Every dollar we raise through Valentine’s Day will be doubled to help provide 8 meals to men, women and children who are struggling this winter,” said Tony Woodell, Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies’ Director.
Cash donations to #HeartFull #TableFull can be made online at WyomingFoodBank.org. Donors also have the option to send a Valentine’s Day eCard and make their donation in honor of someone special.
The food bank serves the entire state of Wyoming. Prescheduled volunteers are welcome at their Evansville warehouse. Wyomingites in need of food can contact the food bank to locate a hunger relief program in their area.
