PRECorp is in the process of determining where it will build a new 69 kV transmission line from the Bill Durfee Substation, to a new pumping station for the Elk Creek Pipeline, owned by ONEOK.
The new line is needed in order to handle new capacity for the pipeline.
There are four possible routes that have been identified. They range from 7 to 10 miles in length.
The project is still in its earliest phase, the information linked below as presented at a public meeting March 9, at the Crook County Courthouse basement in Sundance. The printable handout explains the details of the project, shares information about the four possible routes, and answer questions you may have.
